Biography
Claudius Lieven is head of the "Stadtwerkstatt", a department for citizen participation in the Hamburg Department of Urban Development and Housing. He holds a degree in political science and was spokesman for urban development for the Green parliamentary group in the Hamburg City Parliament. He led the development of the RISE program (Framework Program for Integrated Urban District Development) and the DIPAS project (Digital Participation System). He is currently working on the development of digital tools for urban development and the further development of DIPAS as part of the Connected Urban Twins project, among other projects. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Federal Association for Housing and Urban Development and the Alliance for Diverse Democracy of the Berlin Institute for Participation.
